Update on the boys!!
Hi Guys! it has been a very busy month around here. Austin and Nathan are finally getting over their runny noses and infections. Nathan got his first ear infection two weeks ago. Austin came down with a sinus infection at the same time. After finishing a round of antibiotics they are now fine!!
Thanks to all of you who supported Austin with the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. He really seems to now understand that Nathan isn't the only child in the world who has battled heart disease. He raised over $300.00 for the American Heart Association. A big thanks to all of you who donated!!
Nathan is more active than ever! He still rolls most places but he also scoots forward pretty fast too. He looks like he is doing a military crawl. Trust me...he gets to where he wants to go, and mostly where he doesn't need to be!! We now have the occupational therapist coming once a week and will have a speech therapist coming out starting next week. She will mostly work on feeding issues. He is getting stronger and can sit up on his own a little bit.
These pics of my painted monsters are from today. Austin has his friends over for the day and they began painting pictures with finger paints. Next they decided it would be more fun to paint themselves!! Needless to say the are spending the rest of the day OUTSIDE!!!
I hope everyone is well! God Bless!!

Winter Blues!
Hi Everyone! Well Nathan has his first real cold! He has been a mess this past week. There is just no avoiding illness anymore! I am really ready for spring! We all need to get out of this house and have some fun! I know I would never make it living up north where it really gets cold. I have turned into a wimp!!
No really, we have all been doing great. Nathan is now scooting forward with his legs so it won't be long before he is crawling. We have an occupational therapist coming out to work with him a few times a week starting next week. She will be doing exercises to strengthen his upper body and work on some minor feeding issues we are having. He refuses to try to feed himself and he still isn't doing so well with table food. The therapist and I agree that it has a lot to do with him just being a little lazy with eating so she will be helping me work on that!
Other than that there isn't much to report being as we have mostly been hibernating these past few weeks! I will update and post more pics soon!
